Venue
The 2019 GIW/ABACBS Conference and COMBINE/ARYCOB Symposium will be held at the University of Sydney, in the heart of Sydney – one of the most vibrant metropolitan cities of Australia.
The venue is Charles Perkins Centre (CPC), an Australian medical research institute, clinic and education hub located within the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital health precinct at the Camperdown campus of the University of Sydney.

The Camperdown campus of University of Sydney is located close to the Central Business District (CBD) and Sydney Harbour.
By Public Transport
Opal Card
Opal cards are reusable smartcard tickets that can be use on all modes of public transports such as train, bus, ferry and light rail. They can be purchased from convenience stores (7Eleven and EzyMart), newsagents, petrol stations, post offices and local supermarkets. Topping up of funds on the cards can be done at these same locations or online through Opal website.

Train
Central Station and Redfern are the nearest train stations to the CPC. It is about a 20-30 minutes walk from either stations to CPC. Alternatively, you can catch a bus from Railway Square at Central Station.
Bus
Buses to CPC (University of Sydney) can be taken from Railway Square (Stand M) at Central Station. Available buses routes are 412, 413, 438, 439, 440, 461, 480, 483 and M10, going west along Broadway/Paramatta Road from the CBD. The buses are pretty frequent and easy to take.

By Taxi
Taxi services are available around the University of Sydney and CBD areas. Some popular taxi services are Silver Service, Legion Cabs, 13CABS, etc. Uber is also a popular rideshare service in Sydney.
By Car
Parking around CPC is very limited. Some of the options are :
- Secure parking at St Johns College Car Park at 10 Missenden Road, Camperdown.
- Secure parking at Prince Alfred Hospital Car Park at Carillion Avenue, Camperdown.
Entry Via New Hospital Road – Behind Chris O’Brien Life House.
- Secure parking at Royal Prince Alfred Medical Centre Car Park at Corner Carillion Road and Missenden Road, Camperdown. Entry Via Elizabeth Street.
- Street parking on Paramatta Road, which is available from 6-10 am and 3-7 pm.
From Sydney Airports
Sydney Airports (SYD – domestic and international) are located about 8 km from Sydney CBD. Airport Link provides a train service between the airports and Central Station or CBD, taking approximately 13 minutes. Opal cards can be purchased at the Airport stations or at shops at the airport terminals.
Taxi services are also available from each terminal.
